Default 2010 Harrison Gathering

Since so many folks were asking and wanted to get this on their riding schedule for next year. The dates for the 2010 Harrison Gathering are 7-9 Oct 2010(Thurs-Sat). We will be using the Days Inn again, since everyone seemed good with the accomidations. The owner is going to give us the same rate as this year ($55 + tax). The number for the hotel is (870) 391-3297 and tell them you are with the 1800 Gathering. The reservations for the first floor rooms are first come, first served, so if you want one you should jump early. There will be more information after the first of the year to include pricing on T-shirts. They won't be the Walmart limited edition we were joking about this year.

I just want to say thanks to everyone who attended this year. Pam and I really enjoy seeing everyone come together and have a fun safe time.

Default Booked already

Randy,

I booked my room for next year at the end of the 2009 Harrison Gathering. This was my first and will not be my last. I met some people that I hope to continue our new friendship with for many years to come. For those that have never been to one, I would suggest attending at least one of the several gatherings around the country. You will probably ask yourself the same question that I did.....Why did I wait so long.....

Dave

I had a great time and you can buy dinner next year as well. LOL
It was good to meet you and your brother, hope to see you in the fall.

Randy, get the same brand of shirt if you can. They have held up well. Thanks again for putting this on

Jim, Only if you fix something else for me on the wing, maybe the windshield....hehe

Randy, I was really disappointed that I did not get a T-Shirt at the first ever gathering that I attended...guess that is how you get people to come back next year.

Jim, I have had a chance to look at it closely. I will take it apart and see if I can see it binding on something and not letting it pull down. I will also put the velcro in if I take the shield all of the way out. I was going to do that if I got the F4.

This has become one of my favorite rides of the year. So far I have only missed one since I started attending them. I will be planning on going again next year and hopefully a 2-3 week outing like it has been for the last couple years.

We have a little problem with the Days Inn....

the parking lot makes our bike fall down!

But with any luck at all, we will be there again next year!

The best part about your fall was the fact you both were able to get up again.....and have a great big ole laugh about it....

Just to remind everyone that the time is growing nearer each day. I just made my reservations and the only ground floor rooms left are smoking rooms.

Bank on it, we will most likely be there either friday nite, or saturday nite, for one day. With me not being up to travel anywhere, I'm also looking foward to see some of my old buds, and even some of the younger ones as well.

Just found this link and am interested. Do you have day rides organized? I would be coming down alone so would like to ride with others. My son and I rode the Eureka Springs area over Memorial Day week and had a GREAT time -- (I know, Harrison is just a few miles away) and we really had a wonderful time. I think a fall trip to AR would be just the ticket!!

Thanks!

There is no problem gettin together for a ride as a group. we do that every year. what I have found is a couple or more local riders will lead us on a day long trip with lunch down the road someplace. nothing but twisties for 250 miles. Great time is had by all.

I live for y'all's personal entertainment...

Seriously, looking forward to seeing everyone again, and hoping that everything will fall into place so we can make it (and that nothing will fall OUT of place, forcing us to cancel).

IF we are able to be there, it will be by car, as we still have not replaced the BigYellowBike.
