Oil Drain bolt size?

I looked thru my service manual and I could not find the size of the oil drain bolt.

What is the correct size socket wrench do I need to remove the bolt?

If memory serves me right it should be 17 mm.

17mm is what I remember also.. Same as on my Honda Civic... I wonder if it isn't the same bolt threads also...hmmmm.

Probably. The Wing's drainbolts are 14mm as I recall, and if your Civic is different I'd be very surprised.

Just changed oil in my 1800, 17mm it is. Final drive bolt the same.

It also depends on whether you have changed it to the magnetic type. Third party magnetic drain bolt is generally 14 mm - magnetic drain plug same as the one in the diff is 17 mm :agree:

Let's clear this up... both the crankcase and the final drive drain bolts on the Wing are both 14mm thread with a 17mm head.

The final drive drain bolt has an embedded magnet and you can order one of these to use on the crankcase drain, which is what I did.
