My left front running light on the mirror is out. The turn signal is still good. I'm assuming I need a bulb. What is the stock part number for this bulb and can I get one at an auto parts store like Advanced Auto?

Plus, I assume to replace the bulb, you take the mirror out and go through that way, right?

I just replaced the same thing on mine a couple of weeks ago. Yes you can get the bulb at local auto parts store. I got mine at Auto Zone. Sorry, I don't remember the part number. Someone here will let you know. And yes, remove the bolt under the mirror to remove it and your good to go. BTW, its the same bulb that goes in the tail light.

When you find replacement bulbs, be sure the small filament is supported in the center for vibration resistance. Not all bulbs have this feature and burn out easily when used on a bike.
Where do you find the ones with the "supported" center? I went to Advance Auto and ended up getting the #7443 but couldn't find them with the support.

Usually I just stop by my Honda Car dealership, walk into parts and plop the dead lamp on the counter... less then $2.00 for one lamp... I usually by several, since I'm there already. This is just one more item that is shared between Honda motorcycles and Honda cars...

The tail/stop lamp we use with the center support post is a W21/5W Stanley 12v...

FYI, went to honda car dealer yesterday to get the W21/5W, 12V bulb with the center support. No luck. The replacement bulb had no center support. Then I tried CarQuest's regional warehouse with same results. After returning homeI tried to find it on the Internet and the only source I could find was out of the UK. I wonder if this is another case of companies "cheapening" things up.

BTW, that original bulb that I just replaced had been in the bike since OCT 2003.
