I looked this issue up but most discussions were 10+ years old although there was one from '17-'18 that was for a hitch that basically carried clubs in what typically is used to take your clubs along on an airplane. This seems like something that would have a definite market - an easy way to transport your golf bag. I can't tell you how often its a beautiful sunny summer day when I go to meet my Tuesday golfing pals 40 minutes away on peaceful Wisconsin winding country roads that I have to take my SUV instead of my bike because I have no way to take my clubs along. I'd carry them strapped to my back before I'd put a hitch and trailer on my bike so that's not an option I'm interested in. Anyone see any new products lately or have another solution they've used? Thanks in advance for any input/feedback.

I have a golf buddy that does this - just remember those ends sticking outside the bike sides :)
Considering the width of a Wing, they protrude less than on other bikes!

I saw one on a Goldwing about 15 years ago. It had a straight up metal stand that you could strap in the clubs like they were on a golf cart. The device was attached to a trailer hitch on the back of the bike. The guy was an accountant that had offices spread out through South Carolina and he rode his Goldwing to visit the offices in the morning and play golf in the afternoon.
I'm sorry but I don't remember where he got it or if it was a custom made job by a local metal shop.

I did it this way for years. Just snap the rain cover on the top of the bag and lay it across the back seat and bungee it down nice and tight. No need to spend all kinds of money on racks when a couple of bungee cords will solve the problem. Keep it simple.

I take my entire golf set - clubs, balls, gloves, shoes - all in my right saddle bag:

I love this club. It's not as good as a "real" set, but I still play pretty darn good with it and I can golf anywhere, anytime with no compromise, trailers, hitches, etc. It excels at the 4 to SW irons; drives like a solid 2 or 3 iron, and putter is meh, but for most of my game - it's plenty fine.

I used to carry my snow skies in my trailer, when a good friend and I took the bikes snow skiing, and few times a year.... (The streets had to be totally clear of snow/when this happened)

Just curious if you bought this and if you want to sell, or where I could buy one like it?? Brand name etc….
This was included in the purchase of my 2003 last fall and, yes, I would like to find a new home for it as I'll never use it. The company name was AutoLynx and it appears that they are out of business. Amusingly, performing an online search for "AutoLynx golf bag carrier' comes up with a picture of my actual bike with it on the back! I know absolutely nothing about trailer hitches so included a picture of mine below. All necessary mounting hardware that's needed to fit the hitch comes with the bag. What part of the country are you located in?

I had a upright carrier that I used for one ride. I found it changed the handling on the bike to much with the weight hanging out back and also the height of it. Perhaps if you are only using it for short rides it may be okay but just beware that it does effect the way the bike handles and performs.
