Cycle Gear Tire Replacement?

My tires are going to need replacement in the near future. I've always removed the rims off myself and taken them to a Honda dealer about 25 miles away. I never thought to take them to Cycle Gear which is close to me. If you buy the tires from them, they will install the tires $25 each rim. Has anyone had good or bad experience with C.G. doing the work since the brake rotors will stay on.
Thinking about going with Dunlop Elite 4 this time instead of the Bridgestone's.

I had Cycle Gear install a new rear tire on my 2019 GW when the original tire needed replacing. They mangled my like new rim. They agreed to replace the rim but it took months for them to pay for the replacement. So I will never let them touch another wheel of mine.

I use them and have always been satisfied.

Note: Not all Cycle Gear locations have the tire changing equipment so call your local store to confirm they do before you go.

I order my tires from them on line, have them shipped to my house for free and take the tire and wheel in when I am ready. Change it while I look around the store for $25. Never a scratch on mine.

True on changing equipment. I shopped local store and all they install tires on are dirt bikes.

I've used Cycle Gear in Oklahoma City several times and they've always been great. No problems. Make an appointment to make sure it's no waiting. Like other people have said, $25 a tire if you have purchased the tire from them. $50 a tire if you've purchased elsewhere. They rarely have our tires for a decent price so I always buy elsewhere.

Some have great experience with Cycle for tires. I will not bring any tire work to them by me. Bicycle, yes!!! The amount of times mechanics come and go and get trained in about 15 mins after they started is insane. Moreover, look at the faces of those guys. Some look like they just came out of momma's belly. NOPE !!!! Charge me and HONDA dealer here I come. In my area, you don't need to schedule tire change, if you bring the rims. Come in and out, done.

Unfortunanly the days of m/c shops having discounted labor rate for tires customes are mostly long gone. The days of a tire shop trying to make good profit on the tire sale, and very little profit on the installation of them, flipped upside down long ago. The end result is that the customer ends up saving very little by not buying and having them installed where they are purchased from. It's now become more of a hunt game like buying gas. Yes ... of coarse gas is cheeper arcoss town, but ya gotta drive 50 miles to save a few bucks.
