Your dad saved my life :love:(I've been "thanking" him) every morning I wake up!!
I honestly wish I needed a trailer (I own two of them) and live'n in Springfield, Massachusetts, would make delivery kinda tuff.....

Ronnie,

I know he hears you when you talk to him confessing your gratitude and appreciation. I wish you needed a trailer too! It would be more memorable and meaningful to have someone he knew end up with it in the end. As far as delivery is concerned, I take after my dad perhaps in that regard, and a nice road trip doesn't sound too bad 😉

A bump and plug for a great trailer! While this trailer may not need a plug for the veteran forum members, there are new members joining frequently that may be unaware of this special find. This is definitely one of the elite designed, engineered and manufactured motorcycle trailers available. Not here to debate the previous comment, my opinion.
The wife and I recently completed an 18 day 7500+ mile trip from Houston, TX up to Banff & Jasper AB pulling a Tailwind. Even though my Tailwind is not paint matched to my bike, we received numerous compliments, and inquiries on this sleek aerodynamic trailer. Some pictures of what we carry. Several comments from hotel guests as we were either loading or unloading, in disbelief in the amount luggage we carried.

A 60 quart ice chest for drinks and snacks, a medium sized suitcase, small suitcase, two garment bags, tub for dry goods, snacks, two folding camp chairs, two gallon gas can(just in case) laptop bag, camera bag, plus tools and jack for tire repair/change, plus the onboard air compressor that is part of the Tailwind.
With all this stuff, these trailers pull flawlessly.
During this trip we had two different couples that expressed serious interest in this trailer. I invited them to join this forum and advised them to research on this forum as the most likely place to find a Tailwind for sale. And here we are, this one posted 5 days ago!
Another testament to the quality of these trailers, I believe it was Glockjock that had a F150 drive it's front wheel over the top of his Tailwind trailer while parked at a convenience store with no more than minor paint damage. (Hope this is a correct statement).
I'm a very satisfied Tailwind owner and I believe this is a rare chance of someone else being a satisfied owner. I'm not sure how many of these trailers were ever manufactured, but I don't think very many, comparatively speaking.

Nice SwampD. I'm from your neck of da woods, 2 hrs north of h-town now. Dang, that Tailwing does tote a lot. I am sitting here drinking my caramel mocha, anticipating more sanding on my Aspencade trailer in lieu of painting to match my '03 gl1800, a r274 Candy Durango Red while literally watching the trees wake up from their winter rest. Safe travels always.

Yes, that is a correct statement. The security cameras at the store showed the F-150 running over the trailer. Many people here wiill remember the photos. There is no better built trailer than the Tailwind. It is Expensive and a bargain at the same time!

Very very true. I am SO VERY happy with the tailwind after looking at, researching and actually touching a lot of different trailers. Absolutely worth the price.

😆, I seriously doubt if this well crafted piece of gl1800 accessory is available for sale here in 2024. Look at how it shines in the admist of lush green foliage. The totality of storage space is incredibly long and deep, just like the grl1800 ❤ ❤. Not my color but in this case, if by hocus pocus it's still available, instant pixel change and into new stable. 🎨

I rode with Mr Machine- Gary Hockerman a lot, he was the former owner of this Tailwind trailer and he took very good care of it, he took very good care of everything he owned, unfortunately he got killed in a logging accident, he was a very good friend and I miss him a lot.
