Does anyone have the 06 Service manual on CD where Chapter 26 has content? Everything on my CD works fine except I only get page 26-1 and nothing in the referenced 26-2 through 26-6. No amount of clicking on anything for that chapter on any computer will get those pages. I think the affected file is {cd-drive}:\Manuals\service\service_39.pdf. I would love to have a “fixed” file if such exists because I could always re-burn the disk so that chapter functioned.

Do you mean for the paper copy only P26-1?

My CD is the same. Hadn't noticed earlier. Looks like it may be a problem on all CD's for the '06 model or the '06 service manual in general???

Check my service manual and only had page 26-1 also. Hal, any insite?
What do pages 26-1 to 26-6 "normally" cover? I have just ordered the 06 CD set also. Maybe a part CD could be mailed out as a repair for the manual.
In my case it would be a lot cheaper than returning it.
I also prefer the CD Manuals, you can print a page to do a job, and toss it when finished. No oily finger marks like on a paper manual.

Just edited for clarification.

Hardcopy version of the 2006 GL1800 Service Manual

The hardcopy version of the 2006 GL1800 Service Manual has 26-1 through 26-6. It is labeled as Troubleshooting:
26-2 Engine Does no start or is hard to start
26-3 Engine lacks power
26-5 Poor performance at low and idle speed
26-6 Poor performance at high speed
26-6 Poor handling

I can live without that section.

Here is what they look like - and its not worth even talking about
(These are of the 01-05 CD Manual, and in that one it is called Ch 25)

But I did have to smile after looking at it under Poor Handling - If it wobbles,
it says we either have bad wheel bearings, bad swingarms bearings,
bad rear end bearings or a bent frame. Not a whisper about steering
head bearings or bum tires......O...K...
