I have a question about the 04 windshield vent I bought from Honda direct. Which side of the vent do the rubber grommets go, on the front or back? Also, do the 4 washers go under each nut and bolt? I assume the bolt goes on the outside and the nut on the inside. I guess what I am trying to say is how do you assemble it?

Rubber grommets go in each lower hole in the vent. Easiest way to assemble is:

Vent grill on front of windshield
Rubber grommets on vent body fastener holes, flanged side facing front
Vent on rear of windshield
Engage vent body in lip in upper vent grille
Engage lower tab from vent grille to vent body
Vent assembly, if done properly, is now captive to windshield, allowing you to fasten the nuts & bolts.
1 each plastic washer under bolt head, 1 under nut
Center vent assembly in the cutout
Torque gently. DO NOT OVERTIGHTEN !!!!!!!!
