Don't know for sure, but there must be a tab that you can press to disconnect ( if it is like many other Honda connectors) or mabe a squeese on the sides?

Eric, I had the same problem a few weeks ago but I finally got if disconnected. I cannot remember now exactly how but there is a release on that puppy that requires push or pull. Sorry, don't remember the specifics.
