As I continue my search into maybe purchasing a Goldwing, I stopped by a dealer yesterday with a few questions. I asked about the valve adjustment requirements and was told that needed to be done each 24,000 mile mark. They also stated they charged about $800 to do that, but have not done one yet. Seems a bit high to me, anyone have to have that done yet, is this info inline with you have found?

Buy Fred's video. It is an hour job. I have not done it yet on my 2018. No harder than previous models

Seems to me that if you double the number of valves from 12 to 24, logic says the time required to check and adjust the valves will have to be greater than that of the 1832 engine.
12 of those valves on the 1833 engine use screw and locknut to adjust, but you have another 12 valves that still use shim under bucket.
