Does anyone know if the round fog lights for a 2008 will fit on a 2015 Gl1800 which has the rectangular openings?

When the 12+ came out, initially all you could find for fog lights were the round ones, even from Honda. Took a while till the rectangular ones came on the market. Side note, the earlier front cowls with round holes will fit.

Works, however, it's putting a round peg in a square hole.
When I traded my 2005 and got the 2016, I did not keep the
round lights. To me they just looked like an improper fit. So I
got the Electrical Connection LED set for 2012 - 2017. They
look much better, in my opinion, fitting the opening.

I agree with you, the correct fitting lights do look a lot better.

Just replace the cowl with a early year with the round holes if you want to have round lights. I went with the rectangle lights and they look great.

I put the round SoCal LED fogs behind the square on my 2014 F6B without any issues. Purchased the OEM Honda accessory round LED fogs and they didn’t match the white color of the SoCal LED headlights. The OEM Honda accessory LED fogs were more yellowish. Replaced them with SoCal LED fogs which matched the white hue perfectly.
