#1)when the engine starts there is a thumping at the rear engine case, it fades away, as if oil pressure is building as the thumping fades. #2) when i come to a stop and at low speeds and between gears the transmission or gears at the rear of engine sound as if thay are egg shaped. Its so bad that other bikers have commented on the nosie. Honda Rep looked at the bike, would not authorize repair, lots of lip service, " Hay, you got free towing". This started with 39 miles on the bike and has gotten worse with 3800 mile now. Anyone know someone who can fix this?

check your oil pressure at idle, if that is good you may have clutch basket troubles or a problem in the sub transmission.
You can also contact american honda customer service and make a request for another dealer in another area to look at the bike.
bottom line - wings should not knock.....

That was the HCS Rep from Torrance, CA. He was no help, did not want to ride the bike, total waste of oxygen. At the time the bike was in the Honda shop with 3 mechanics that agreed this bike has a problem. Thanks for the help.
