2010 Catscade Web Site is Alive!

The current year Catscade web site has sprouted from the ashes like the Phoenix.

CJ, our exhaulted web master has dusted off the old site, painted it, made repairs and gave it a new look. If I didn't know better, I would think that he is is getting ready to sell it, with new curb appeal.....LOL

Thanks CJ, for all that you do, for this event.

I am surrounded with 4 feet of snow, talking about Catscade and Riding. There is something wrong about that!

As the weeks roll by, we will be adding updated info to help those folks that are attending.

This is going to be the "Last Cade" for a while. The demands to put this Event together has exceeded our ability. It is now time for the Mid Atlantic folks to start planning 2011 if they choose to do so.

Catscade has been rewarding to Meesh and I, and we think also to the many folks that commit their resources to assist in making this the event that it is. As in everything, the shine wears off and it it is time to move on.

Numbers is not our game, but quality is! We hope that everyone that has attended in the past will agree and that new folks will come and join us for the first time. All of the Catscade events have belonged to the attendees, and this year will be no different.

The website, http://www.cats-cade.org/ is up and running, and will be updated regularly. CJ has thousands of pictures (from many contributors - Thank You!) from past events scrolling and waiting to be seen. Perhaps your MUG is up there?

Hope to see many of you "Again in 10"

Dawg and Meesh,

Thanks for all you have done with the past gatherings. CatsCade has become the standard for all GL1800rider gatherings and will always serve as a template for anyone that puts together a rally. The two of you have been true ambassadors for our board and is there was ever a GL1800riders Hall of Fame, you both would be the first inductees.

It has been my pleasure to attend all the CatsCades up to this year and even though I will miss this one, I will come up to see you some time in the summer. Until then, take care my friends, and I hope to see you at the third annual Last Cade.

Great job once again on the Cats-Cade site, CJ. What a treat to watch those slide shows and see all the faces of folks I met for the first time at CC'06 who have now become friends. It's easy to tell the pics from the years we weren't there... the sun is shining! :joke:

Wish we could make it to Again in '10, but it's not likely to be in the cards for us this year. The rest of y'all go, have fun, take lots of pics to share with us!

Wish I could be there also, but other commitments for that week will just not allow this to happen. Great event! Great hosts! Great time! Glad that I made it twice!

It's good to know that CJ's (and Dawg's) efforts are "Made in USA".:flg::flg:
Dawg, if you've still got 4 feet of snow:snow1:, ya maybe need to offer Wheels a cheesecake :s13::eat2::chef3:and he'll likely take care of it for you in no time. The only question is will he take care of the snow or the cheesecake.:?:

As for the "Last Cade", sounds if you've sent your "instructions" to the MAM folks.:chatter: :biker:

I think only you, Meesh and the rest of your gang do a great job for all....Sure hope when this event is over and with a little rest You decide to do it all again for us to enjoy....You Guy's and Girl's bring alot of happness to all of us....I know the businesses that are in the area of the event have to be very greatfull as well...

While we wanted to attend last year, we couldn't make it work.
I said I wouldn't let that happen this year and we will be making the trip this year.
Thanks for all your hard work. Maria and I are really looking forward to visiting with everyone and attending our first Cats-Cade:lol:

I don't recall getting a memo on this. When was this Family meeting held and who made this motion? Great times, Great Fun, and Great Folks. And as for all the snow, IT"S ABOUT TIME!!!!!!!!!

I'm just starting to see some of my lawn.:bow:

Just wondering... I don't see the count going up for the Cats-Cade get together. Looks like the 2009 registration had a lot more folks on it. Are folks not registering or not coming??? Hoping for a good turnout.

Has anybody talked to the Dawg or Meesh lately???? I ordered some stuff from "Shinhopples" a couple weeks ago and the order came within 2 days! I tried for more 2 days ago and again today, website down! Hal got my order! I hope and pray that the Dawg and the lovley Meesh are OK!!!!! :shrug:

There have been some minor changes to the Shinhopples web site. Previous bookmarks may not work as a result. Please type www.shihnopples.com into your browser and you will get to their new front page. There is a button there that will take you to the Parts and Accessories store. If anything doesn't work, just give them a call at the number on the front page of the web site.
