I traded in my old GL1800 for a bright shinny new 2012 GL1800. Thinking ahead I removed my CB to use it on the 2012. WRONG!:22yikes: Honda changed it's arrangement for the CB on for the 2012 bikes. No longer will it require removing the shelter to connect the CB. It's all done in the trunk. Now here is the down side, the old CB p/n 08E95-MCA-100a, or any CB designed to fit GL1800 01 thru 10, (the one with the long connector cable) wont fit the 2012 bikes. 4:Honda designed a new CB p/n 08E-MCA-100B, short connector cable and new connector:wrong:. Now the big QUESTION, has anyone come up with an adapter cable to facilitate using the old CB with the new 2012 bike?:bow:

IF anyone has done this it would probably be Pete at bikemp3. You should be able to sale the other fairly easy to help recoup the NEW 2012 cb or PETE may could fix you up with one of his. I have had both and my next bike will also have the GL2Way.

I have a 2012 with the new cb. If I remember correctly the cb plugged directly into the radio, and it was a 14 pin instead of the old 13 pin.

Checked Sierra electronics, checked everywhere, just going to sell the CB and buy one for the 2012.:rat: give somebody a good deal on a 08E95-MCA-1020 CB
