Will forks from a 2016 fit a 2007?

Yes, I think so. Can’t think of a reason they wouldn’t. They will probably provide a major improvement.

All 5th gen forks assemblies will interchange (physically fit) with other 5th gens with the exception of air-bag models. Air-bag models will only interchange with other air-baggers.

My 2007 is non airbag and the 2016 forks are from a non airbag

The 2016 forks fit the 2007 and by using a ring of fire you don't see any of the black. Thanks to everyone who responded.
