I am having a problem connecting to Apple CarPlay wirelessly. New 2025 models are supposed to not need headset??? When launching CarPlay it is requesting headset pairing? Any help…very frustrating as this was a huge selling point for the 2025…wireless. Appreciate any help.
Oh crap, I don't want to be a beta tester! I didn't think about this as I'm in the process of transitioning to a 2025. I hope Honda has all the bugs worked out. I have my 2018 perfectly dialed in with the Motorola MA1. Sorry I can't help, but I'm keeping an eye on this thread. Hopefully @Navy Gator will chime in and get you up and running.

I haven't seen anything to indicate the headset requirement has changed on the 2025. Wireless ACP and AA is a good thing but that's a seperate issue altogether.

Just remember the headset (microphone) requirement is a demand put on by Apple and Google as a safety measure. They don't want you driving distracted while pressing buttons or twiddling knobs on Apps running on their device. They would rather you be using voice commands. It's no different in your car except your ACP capable car has a built-in microphone, your bike does not.

As far as I know, you still need a BT headset or dongle to inform your phone that a microphone is present, even on the 2025 model. A wireless connection doesn't change that (unfortunately).
I didn't even think of that. I'm so used to just connecting with Cardo that I totally forgot the headset requirement. Damn autopilot got me again.
