Wow! I love that 2-tone Gold. I miss my 2006 gold. And that one is highly reminiscent of the 1985 Limited Edition. I wanted to do that with my 2006 but never did.

I have some thinking to do. I just wish it came with the Airbag... Can't have it all, I guess.

I can't see an anniversary badge in the pics.

EDIT: Found it:

Besides the 1985 wing, the same color scheme was offered on the 1991 GL1500.

With money down on a new 2023...I was worried that I would have serious buyers remorse when the 2025 came out! I don't!
With all the new patents we have heard about, I bet they just couldn't pull it off in time for the 50th.
I wonder if any "heads rolled" for that?

The big changes are slated for the 75th Anniversary Edition. I can't wait. (Literally. I'm 77. I can't wait.)

Am I reading this correctly? The Nav has been eliminated?

NEW FOR 2025
  • New colors for all trim levels.
  • Apple CarPlay and Android Auto can now be used wirelessly on all Gold Wing versions.
  • Given the widespread adoption of Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, the Gold Wing's native navigation system has been eliminated for 2025.
  • "Since 1975" has been added to the Gold Wing logo that appears at the meter's "opening ceremonies" when the bike is turned on.
  • On standard versions, a Gold Wing logo across the saddlebags and side fairings adds a bold styling treatment.
  • A special 50th Anniversary badge is situated in front of the seat and on the Smart Key, commemorating the Gold Wing's important milestone (on all versions except for Light Silver Metallic).
  • For model-year 2025, all Gold Wing versions in Eternal Gold, Bourdeaux Red Metallic and Matte Black Metallic (not Light Silver Metallic) come with two free commemorative gifts: a coffee-table book and a tabletop 3D 1:12 scale model. The model features a 1975 Gold Wing on one side and a 2025 Gold Wing on the other side.

I glossed over this initially and thought it still had nav, but I just read it again. Maybe it's a good thing to just drop it. They never keep the maps up anyway.

I was so blown away with the new colors and features that I called my dealer and pre-ordered two. Now I'm really hoping the dealer doesn't screw up my UBS Bolt replacement as I now have no options. Honda can keep the 25!!!

So in order to get rims that are NOT Black you need to get Gold? :(

What happened to "The 50th anniversary Honda Gold Wing isn't an upgrade. It's an up-up-and-away grade."??????? 🤭
Wireless CP is the only improvement.......pretty lackluster for 50th anniversary IMHO.

THIS!! Don't talk about upgrades and then "up-up-and -away grade" like it's something big and come out with this. It's a great bike, but taking away Nav it's almost a downgrade.

Does this mean that they got rid of that crappy infotainment system that craps out? Hmmm, maybe a 2025 might be the way to go. Hopefully, @Fred H. can give us some info on this. It also looks like if you want chrome you gotta get a gold Goldwing.:(

I am disappointed as well and not surprised at all. Honda is never first on tech in bikes. 50th model, this bike should have looked like the Audi Q tech in it. BUT.....BUT I am glad now, cause I would probably get one and not in the mood to spend on one :p. So, cheers to LAZY minded Honda and cheers to my bank account. 2020 it is, for now.
