If anyone's interested:
Nov.4 (always the first Saturday in November) at Chesterfield Town Center (shopping mall) in Midlothian, Virginia. I think registration begins at 9:00 am and the ride begins at noon or somewhere near that. Don't bring your own teddy bear. These bears are purchased from the Crippled Childerens Hospital and one is give to every child that's admitted. It's a great ride and it's for a good cause. Cops shut the streets down and the bikes go through Richmond, Va to deliver the bears. Afterwards there's a party. I'll try to locate a web page with more info, but if you can attend it's a great time with lots of different bikes.

Her's more. and BTW it's the 24th annual run!!!
4 November, 2006. The Blue Knights of VA III will host their 24th Annual Children's Hospital Teddy Bear Run (RAIN OR SHINE). Registration from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Chesterfield Towne Center Mall at Huguenot Road and Midlothian Turnpike with parking in the Sears parking lot. Minimum donation is $10 per person and the first 1000 registered will get event pins (do not bring a toy or teddy bear). A police escorted parade (helmets required) will leave the mall at 1:00 PM to deliver the Teddy Bears to the Children's Hospital and then all riders are invited to a special celebration with food, drink, trophies, awards, door prizes and a 50/50 drawing. TBR (TEDDY BEAR RUN)

HURRICANE JOE,
glad you enjoy the RUN. It's a good time for a good cause. Dropping the bears off @ the hospital & seeing the excitement of the Staff & the Kids who are well enough to see us when we ride by dropping off the bears is a real treat.
I've been fortunate to have been a part of this event, either as a participant or "worker bee", for most of the 24 yrs, & it's always a good time.
It's a RAIN OR SHINE event, & some have been wet & cold, but we always hope for the best.
A BIG THANKS to all those who have participatd in the past :D & a BIG WELCOME to all who may be 1st time participants.
Come on out. THE HOBO will be assisting with the parking of the more than 1500 motorcycles expected, & will even autograph your bear for FREE!! :D
Mrs. Hobo(BETTY) will be working the registration booth with TY the WONDER DOG.
Stop by & say HOWDY. Hope to see you there, & THANKS again for the post!! 8)

This is happening this Saturday!!! Hope to see some of you guys there. I be on the white 05 with a black & tan corbin seat, sporting a Redskin flag. It'll probably be the only Redskin flag flying.
