Does anyone know how these round light protectors actually fasten to the cowl or bulb. There must have been some plan on using the small stick-on adhesive pieces but there are no directions with these and I can't imagine you would stick them on the front of the bulb since the EC, high intensity lights generate a lot of heat.

Well, I had them on my 02 for 4 years and the little round white heavy duty velcro fasteners
were stuck on the front lens of the lights.
Never had one come off.
Bugs would squish down into the little crack around the edges
and drive me nuts trying to get it cleaned out, but hey,
just don't lick your fingers after cleaning.
They fit in there pretty tight and you couldn't just grab the edge
and pull it off. I was going to get some kind of suction cup that I could use
to pull the covers off for cleaning, but never got around to doing that.
Have not decided what to do about the 07 yet.
I'd like a formed clear cover that actually wraps over the outer portion of the
lower cowl that surrounds each light, sort of like a bowl,
that would keep the bugs from jamming into the driving light openings
and present a smooth surface for cleaning.
