I don't know how many of you local guys ride over this route. I like to do it when going home - just to make sure the terrorists aren't trying to blow up Norris Dam, you know. Doing my part for Homeland Security and all. Anyway, I hadn't been keeping up my duties recently so today I took the long way home from work, and low and behold they have repaved the dam road from the dam to the park. Real smooth and grippy.

Anyway, just thought I'd give you guys a dam report.

Yes it has been like that for a few months. it is very tacky and I love the grip. I really like the road. I will have to come up and ride it again soon..

It is a nice road to ride and i have always loved that area but i try to stay out of there because of all the deer, they roam around in heards there. We came through there last year and my buddy who was riding out front had some cross the road with in 8 foot of him, scared the crap out of me, didn't bother him. He rides that rode about every day and says he's used to it. I wish they would thin them out some.
