Three of us out for a little Sunday ride of 276 miles today. 100 miles of 75-80mph freeway and 80 miles of 85-90mph two lane mountain roads. 276 miles on 6.1 gallons of gas = 45.2mpg. I couldn't be happier.
I also got 45 mpg Labor day weekend while traveling in the mountains. The higher elevations really improve the gas mileage. Of course that was using the "Honda" miles off the bike's odometer. I should have used the actual milage from the GPS (but I wouldn't have felt as good about the results).
Been getting a little over 50 MPG but been riding with Lola and her new Trike. Max speeds near 65 LOL.......... sure does good on gas at those speeds and that is using GPS mileage.
Wow, I have never even gotten close to that mileage or range. My personal best is only right around 37-38 m.p.g., but this in mixed riding not all highway.
2006 nav with 2600 miles, 87 octane reg. unleaded.
