5th generation remote programming, anyone? I just bought this trike 2012 and didn’t have a remote, got one OEM, can’t. Find a video on YouTube, help?

It's a series of on-off-on-off without starting and pressing the trunk button each time.

Turn the trike ignition on and within 10 seconds, press the trunk release button. After release button pushed turn off the ignition and then turn ignition back on. Within 10 seconds press the trunk release button. Turn off again.

On the 4th time you do this, after pressing the trunk release button, press the trunk release button one more time without turning off and the turn signals should flash twice. Then turn off the ignition.

It should now be programmed. If you end up picking up a second remote, you have to go through the entire procedure again but this time after pressing the trunk release button a second time on final on, also then press the trunk release on the second remote and then they should both be programmed. You can have up to 3 remotes programmed at any time.

And this sounds more complicated than it really is. Will take maybe about 30 seconds to complete

If you have a Honda Service Manual for your bike, the instructions are in section 21. LIGHTS/METERS/SWITCHES.
I found it on page 21-56 of the 2012 manual.

This is what it says:

TRANSMITTER REGISTRATION

NOTE: The codes of up three transmitters can be registered into the trunk lock control unit memory. (If a fourth code is stored the code which was registered first will be erased.) Make sure to keep the timing between 1 and 4 seconds for each action. Too fast or too slow will causes the control unit to lose the stored codes.

1. Turn the ignition switch to "ON." Between 1 and 4 seconds, press the trunk opener button on the transmitter while aiming transmitter at the trunk. Between 1 and 4 seconds, turn the ignition switch to "OFF."

2. Between 1 and 4 seconds, turn the ignition switch back to "ON" while aiming transmitter at the trunk. Between 1 and 4 seconds, turn the ignition switch to "OFF."

3. Between 1 and 4 seconds, turn the ignition switch back to "ON" Between 1 and 4 seconds, press the trunk opener button on the transmitter while aiming transmitter at the trunk. Between 1 and 4 seconds, turn the ignition switch to "OFF."

4. Between 1 and 4 seconds, turn the ignition switch back to "ON." Between 1 and 4 seconds, press the trunk opener button on the transmitter at the trunk. Confirm that the turn signal lights blink twice. Leave the ignition switch "ON."

5. Within 10 seconds, aim the transmitters (up to three) that you want to store codes in at the trunk and press the trunk opener button once on each transmitter. Confirm that the turn signal lights blink twice. Turn the ignition switch to "OFF."

6. Confirm proper operation of each transmitter with the new codes.
