Does your windshield have a "flip" or recurve at the top? It's hard to tell from your pic and the manufacturer doesn't have any photos.

I had a flip on mine and worked very well. Before I ordered the F4, I had looked at 7Jurock but they did not have any for the 6th gen wing at that time. I really liked it on the K. You will deal with Kyara Ramos, if you order one. She is wonderful to deal with. They will do everything to make sure you are happy. I remember her from the last time.

Also just a suggestion here: BUT on my F4 shield (with vent included) I also apply a good coat of wax on my shield, when I wax my bike , THIS WAY, the rain water just rolls off the shield if I'm caught in a rain storm while riding, making seeing through it much better/safe'rr

I think I would opt for Clearview next time. I have the F4 and the visual defects are a bit maddening for the price. The little pock marks in your line of sight are mind-numbing when looking through the windshield. Also, the sharp edges really look 'unfinished', besides being sharp. I love the hardness and scratch resistance, but for for the money, you'd expect a little better quality control, Imho.

I saw your review. So, you are 6’1”? 24” is not too tall? I am 6’4” on an OEM seat with Utopia backrest. I added 2” to my 20” F4 with a pc of paper and tape and I thought 24” on the lower position would be a bit high! Not sure. I have to do it again.

I, too, have the OEM seat and Utopia backrest, and I can see over the 24" windshield in the down position if I don't slouch (important in rain). You should have no problem unless your inseam is 40"+ (mine is 32").

Remember that the 24" is the actual length of the windshield, not the vertical height. At 6'4" you should have not problem seeing over it when fully down.

I see from the Clearview website that they offer a vent in the 5th Gen GL1800 windshields. I don't see an option for the vent to be added at the factory for the GL1800, 2018+ 6th Gen. Perhaps they will have that in the future (e.g., like the light gray tent that is now a ailable). My GWRRA friends all say, "Don't buy a new windshield without a vent installed because the airflow it provides on warm days is definitely worth the added costs.

My experience with my 2010 Wing was that the windshield vent did next to nothing. The biggest improvement to cockpit airflow was the Baker Air Wings I installed. Air Wings for my new 2021 are scheduled, I just don't know what brand yet.

I asked if the if the Honda GL1800/Automatic DCT/Tour/Tour Airbag 2018 and newer Windshield model HON01023 could have a curve added and if a vent could be added. Kyara Ramos, Customer Service Specialist said that the windshield can be made with or without a curve. She also stated that the vent could be added to the windshield (as long as the height of the windshield selected allowed for the vent to be fitted on the windshield). I hope that this information helps others interested in purchasing a taller and wider, thick acrylic windshield.

I have the F4 shield on my bike....... BUT Just a suggestion, BE SURE TO ORDER A SHIELD (of your choosing) with an air vent all ready installed..... best (extra) money spent .............. Sure is nice on warm days, (cooling) OR long hours in the saddle just to keep you awake....(wind blowing in your face/if want'ed)

According to the F4 site, there is no option for a 2018+ shield with the vent.

There's another aspect to Kyara's caution about the vent option. Depending upon your height and whether you want maximum wind protection for your passenger, the vent could be directly in your line of sight with the windshield in the full up position. I learned this the hard way when I originally bought a vented 7Jurock windshield for my K1600GTL and had to exchange it for a non-vented version. Hence, I opted for the latter on my 2018 Tour.

Another word of caution regarding their website drawing for the HON01023 windshield. The height shown as "Stock" reflects the windshield on the standard Goldwing, whereas the Tour comes with a 20" height. I've brought this discrepancy to their attention, but the drawing still hasn't been corrected.
