This is what I did this last weekend. http://stumpjumpers.org/desert-100/
Man oh man, I am sore. Haven't been off-road in almost 6 years, and I pick this one to get back into it. But what a blast! Hung out with a bunch of friends and rode. Doesn't get much better than that. I will be doing this one http://www.lakewenatcheerecclub.com/files/2009_Dirty_Face_Entry_Form.pdf in June. I haven't done it in several years, but it is always a great time. If anyone might be interested in doing it, and would need a place to stay, let me know. It is a good time.

Looks cool, I haven't ridden dirtbikes for a while but have some fond memories. And probably a few scars, LOL. My bro-inlaw is all into dirt and some of my friends are into dualsport adventure riding. I must say, It tempts me sometimes. For now I'll just have to ride my ATV's to satisfy the dirt bug. Have fun.

No wrecks from me, but I am still pretty sore. Did not stop me from knocking out a couple hundred miles on the 'Wing yesterday though. 72F here:thumbup:

One of the worst things I ever did was sell my KLR 650. Most fun bike I have ever owned, bar none. I used to do long weekend camping trips in the mountains and also some light touring on it. Followed my buddies on their fancy WR450's and CRF 450's anywhere they went. I need to get another one, and soon!

I've done the Dirty Face the past few years on my BMW F650GS and it's been a lot of fun. This year I'll be out of town and will have to pass on it. A couple other d/s events that can be fun are: Trollhaugen, Black Dog (down in Oregon) and the DS rally at Stevenson put on by Sound Rider.

It's nice having a d/s bike to get off the pavement.
