When utilizing the '18+ bike's bluetooth function, is there an intercom feature between the rider and passenger, like the prior model had via headset cables?

How does the passenger integrate their own phone into the bluetooth audio system to listen to their own music or make their own calls, yet still be able to have an intercom feature with the driver?

There is no built-in intercom on the new wing. Intercom functions are supported by your Bluetooth headsets.

The passengers headset would have to be paired to their own phone and not to the bike for the passanger to be able to make their own calls or listen to their own music...or the passengers headset would be paired to a iPod to listen to their own music...the intercom works thru the headsets so the headsets are pair to each other...same with bike to bike.

Passenger only needs to pair to bike if they want to listen to audio generated by the bikes audio system (radio, bike gps, bike usb input...).

Intercom is headset to headset.


We normally run 2 bikes, but when we ride on one, we don't change anything headset wise -- passenger is still headset to headset connected (for intercom, same as when we are bike to bike) and is still paired to their own phone for calls and for mp3's played from phone.
(all this assumes the rider is on the bike they normally drive and the passenger is the one that otherwise drives the bike that was left behind)
