I am going to call the service dept today, but my brand new '06 has a very loud ignition noise in the intercom only when the passenger is plugged in. The noise is there when I plug either set into the jack, so the problem is not with the helmet or cable. Sounds like a bad ground. I sure hope it is not a chronic problem. I can't stand it. It disappears as soon as the rear cable is unplugged.

Any comments.

I think this is a more common problem....noise/interference from the road causing interupts in the intercom, music, GPS , etc.

I think there is a filter you can get as well as a great product called Mic-Mutes that will eliminate noise picked up by the "passenger" headset microphone.

Just a suggestion.....
