Our 3 year old grandson was so excited because he had been on a treasure hunt (at school) to find Baby Jesus and found Him in a manger in the Chapel. He had forgotten that he did the same thing last year.

I hope we all can be like him and feel the meaning of Christmas as if it was the first time.

Christmas just doesn't seem like Christmas without two ingredients. The first is, as Steve has mentioned, children. To watch their little bright eyes on Christmas morning as they dig into their presents reminds us that to really appreciate the meaning of Christmas is to become like a little child again, simple, uncomplicated faith. The second is giving. When you're young, you look for what you can get, but as you grow older, the real joy is in giving. Just watching a loved one open a present that you have thought about and bought (or made) especially for that person is priceless, regardless of what the credit card companies would have you believe. Giving is what Christmas is all about, as God gave his only son to take care of all the bad things people do - all we have to do is believe it.

Merry Christmas to you all!

Merry Christmas to all my friends.

Good wishes also to all of our worst enemies around the world. If they find joy and love, they may realize that the God that we all call upon, by whatever name, does not demand that we kill each other. :s27:
