So as not to hijack the thread on reprogramming the stock ECU, I thought I would start this new thread. Has anyone tried the aftermarket ECU found here?

Says you can up HP by 15%, and fuel economy by 6%. I don't care so much about the HP gains, since speed is not my thing. However, with a trike, I find that the fuel economy could be much better, and 6% would be a decent start.

That is not an aftermarket ECU. I believe that is an add-on item that fools the ECU.
Also, consider that in the event that it or the splice connections fail, you will likely be dead in the water and have to remove it to get back on the road.

Just for clarity ... the ECU is attached to the back of our dash cluster. It stores information such as ODM reading. The ECM is the on-board computer that monitors our programmed fuel injection, ignition, and controls other running functions such as an electronic fuel pump.
