Anyone wear one of these lids? Please post your thoughts.

I want to try a Modular, cost not an issue. Any recommendations? Communication setup not needed.

I wish I could say I've tried one, but can't. I took a look at them, good looking helmet, but for that price I'd look at Klim. The Klim modular is $649 retail, but if you contact them directly, a non current paint scheme will be about half price. The Klim's are very light as well, maybe about the 2 lb + range. The Klim also comes with a photo reactive face shield, so the internal sun shield isn't needed. One of the guys I ride with has one and loves it. The shield is clear in the dark or in cloudy conditions, but darkens instantly in bright light. The brighter the light, the darker she gets.

Schuberth! I love my C3 Lite. I'd probably spring for a C4 Pro next time (or whatever the latest-and-greatest-is).

They're so much quieter than the other helmets I've had.

It's nice being able to flip the lid quickly and sip from a water bottle (Costco 500mL bottles fit easily in the shelter case).

The quick-release chin strap is also a lot nicer to use than D-rings.

Integrated sun glasses, too. (Although I wish these were tinted a bit darker)
