I just changed my air filter for the first time and found a small amount
of oil in the air box. There was about a spoon full and the same in the
drain under the left valve cover. Bike is running great, no problems that
I know of. Is the oil normal, this is my first wing.

Thanks in advance! :?

Oil

Yes, if you order Fred Harmon's DVD's on working on your Wing, ...when you change the air fliter and remove it, you are supposed to clean out the area around the intakes.

It is very normal to find a small amount of oil in that area...and it can be easily wiped up. Just be sure to clean that area BEFORE you install your new air filter.

Cheers,
