My friend and I changed his airfilter on his 04 wing yesterday. I have to say watching Freds DVD's made it pertty straight forward. There were no suprises and the bike actually worked when we were done.....LOL

My question is this: my 08 with Navi wil be due over the winter and I was wondering if there are any additional steps, or things that I have to be aware of becaause of the navi???

Not really any difference for changing the filter. Now if it were an airbag bike... those things are stuffed like a hard shell lobster..

The removal of the dash panel cover and the side pockets are a little different, and there is not so much to disconnect above the airbox.

I think that changing the air filter on my airbagger is actually easier than it was on my 05.
