With the onset of colder weather I notice my digital air gauge will give me a different reading if I repeat the check. The gauge and the tires are in the same garage at the same temp. The reading vary by a pound or pound and a half. Is this normal and does anyone know which reading is the correct one?

I just bought two digital gauges for presents for our MC club Christmas party last weekend. Their package said they were accurate to +/1 0.5 lb. and they provided a reset to accommodate temperature variations. Cost me $16.99 each at Canadian Tire.

They also have a motorcycle model that's a little nicer looking ($24.99) which I have on my Christmas stocking stuffer list.

No, they aren't. You are holding the guage in your hand, and the guage is wrapped in a blanket that is 98 degrees. The tires are at room temperature.
