I've read that some of you have used a bore-scope to go in thru the snorkels to see the condition of the air filter. For the life of me I can't find the end of the snorkel to put the scope in. How did you do it? Thanks

Presuming you are working on the older bike...Crouch down beside the front wheel and search up high above the plastic. Almost up to where you'd be if you removed the pocket and looked forward. It does crane your neck a bit, take care.

Thanks. It's a 2016 level 3. I looked up under the front cowl but didn't see anything so I looked in the service manual and it looked they came down the side so I removed both side cover and didn't see em. I'll try going thru the front pockets. Thanks again.

I always pull the left cubby and go in from there.

I pulled the left cubby and guided the scope while a buddy pushed the scope from above the wheel.
I could easily identify that I was looking at the filter, but I couldn't really tell how dirty it was.
The filter was due to be changed, not bad, but I couldn't have known that from the scope.
