While searching for artists and ideas, I came across Chris Cruz's website. This guy is incredible. Wish he wasn't so far away. http://www.chriscruz.com/
there seems to be closet air brush artists everywhere.
next time there is a harley gathering in your area, i am sure that a bunch will have tanks painted up. pick out a couple nicer jobs and im sure they will be more than happy to tell you about this dude that just is great and for a great deal also.
Cruz does not look for work. It comes to him. I like his stuff, but could never afford his work. So I guess I will just have to admire his work on other peoples machines.
Dave Dininny in St Augustine does beautiful air brush work! Of course, like Cruz, he isn't cheap and you will wait quite some time to have your work done. He did a religious scene on the lid of a large Espcapde trailer for a friend of mine that is a real crowd drawer wherever he parks the trailer.
Sue Hopper/VanNess of Lockridge Iowa does some outstanding airbrush work. She follows the rally circuit and should not be too hard to catch up with. Here is her website...
