I am considering this and the J&M Shorty CB antenna, but wanted to hear any pros/cons before buying the items.

I have the antenna breakover on my bike. I have not had to fold down the antenna yet but will be doing that once the weather allows longer rides. It installed without any problems and looks well made.

I bought the J&M shorty antenna, but I haven't covered the bike yet to see how it would work with cover.
I like the short antenna. I don't have to worry about antennas when I jack the bike up to change tires or
change oil.
