You should be okay...

...just need to keep them low on the antenna, but just above where they would flop in the wind and scratch your paint on the trunk. I run one on each of my antennas and have had absolutely no problem. As always, takes a pretty tough flag to hold up to the wind speeds on the Wing.

They increase the stress on the antennas substantially, if used they should be at the antenna base, as low as possible.

If mounted high on the antenna they will tear up the antenna, it's only a matter of time.
