A dealer mentioned that there will be a special color of gold that is just airbag as an anniversary but the others will be silver and that burgendy red. Also dealer mentioned that almost all were DCT they were receiving....still another dealer said they have heard nothing so hard to know what is right. Either way its a shame Honda doesn't do more to tease and rollout the wing given it is its 50th anniversary. Seems like a waste of an opportunity but perhaps it is coming
I really don't care if they tease or not - I really hate all the bull crap rumors that occur every year before the official release. You get your hopes up and... nothing. These AI videos make it even worse. I think it's easy to see how fake they are now, but soon the tech will improve and it won't be so easy.

I won't believe anything until I see it on the Honda web site.

AI will get better and make it wrose to be sure. In the case of the eicma videos what is strange goldwings are not ai and are in fact goldwings that honda put on that stand. It will be frustrating if they put 2024's there instead of 2025 causing this churn. If they are 2025's then that is disappointing given that means they didn't do anything update the bike. I have my popcorn.....lets give it some time. Either way I just want my wing as I have alot of trips planned for next year and need a bike....tiger 1200 is gone so garage is empty.

It's ridiculous how Honda treats these rollouts. No other manufacturer is so "undisclosing" about new models. If you want to sell a product wouldn't it behoove you to clearly advertise and market it?
I’m afraid the reason for such suspense might be related to a discontinued product. It’s been reported that motorcycle sales have declined considerably since 2022, so Honda may have already pulled the plug. Alternatively, they might be waiting to see if a new administration is elected, given concerns about potential tariffs on imported goods.

Something is definitely going on. Nevertheless, the Japanese have never been known for flashy advertising. They live balanced lives and tend to avoid getting overly excited until a product meets their specifications and is fully perfected.

Meanwhile, I’ll continue to wait.

I know business is all about profit, but I can't see the Goldwing sales dropping enough that they'd cancel the model one year short if it's 50th anniversary. But it is Honda we're taking about so anything is possible.

I just saw something the said motorcycle registrations in the US are the highest ever. As of 2002. I don't know the percentage that are GoldWings though.

I would disagree. Honda already knows what WE KNOW: there's considerable interest in this upcoming 50the anniversary model. Many have hesitated this year to buy a 24 in anticipation of something special coming from Honda for '25. If indeed Honda decides to pull the plug on this current itineration of Gold Wing, it won't be THIS coming year.

I seriously doubt that Honda has discontinued the goldwing for 2025.

I can tell you for a fact that they didn't. Release will be after the new year, probably in early January.

I just got some insight from a major US dealer upper management close friend that travels frequently to Japan's manufacturing that the 2025 model will rollout on the first week of February 2025 in the US. No marketing hype and no major updates except new color options and some electronic upgrades. But sadly, the sticker price will be up in the mid 30's due to inflation... If true, we're all better off with a 2024 model.
