just received the shop manual I ordered when I purchased my 2007 'wing about 3 weeks ago.

on the cover of the manual it says
2006 GL1800
Service Manual
Second Edition
61MCA51

I've learned to expect the high prices of "real" Honda stuff
... but would think when getting official Honda parts the manual would say
2007 GL1800...
?

anyone know for sure:
... did they send me the wrong one?
... or is the 2006 identical in every way to the 2007?

thanks,
Dennis

Anyway Honda likes to save money ONLY after you pay your $20,000 on a '07 and receive '06 goods.
I'm sure the savings are past on the the customer.......NOT!

found it, I think.

buried between the service manual and the ETM manual they put in a replacement cover for the SM that says "2006-2007" and ONE replacement page (4-3) that looks identical to the information already on page 4-3 ...
?

it's a learning experience
:)

Wingwing, When I purchased the 07, they sold me the 06 manual, and then they gave me another shrink wrapped 1 1/2 in thick addendum to the 06 manual. Go back and check with them.
