I got an email from sierra about this as well and when I saw the kit, it looked complete. Just didn't like the price for the kit.

I recently saw an ad for the Onyx radio kit for cars for $20 plus the service. Takes a little imagination to get it mounted on the bike, but mine is mounted on the left handlebar and works great. I did a little searching and found some other options for the bike mount plus I can remove the radio from the mount and take it indoors. I still need to use a bag over it in wet weather, but no biggie.

I just downloaded the sirius app on my phone few weeks ago. Tried 1 station and it worked.

I tried it out while riding. Did well. No airwave fee, no added cost to my already plan. Just takes data amount from my phone...but I have unlimited on phone, so no issues here.

Not sure of the difference between their app on a phone and a items to add to a bike....
