I had the seat off today and found this in the little void beneath the relay box. I've had the bike for about a year now. I've had the seat off a couple of times but don't recall seeing this before.

If you look at the sides of your seat you will find four spots for the pictured items. They are the bushings through which the grab handle bolts go through to hold your seat onto the bike. One of the spacers is what you have found.

Yup. Take a peek under your actual seat and you will find three more and an empty hole. I'll let you figure out where to put that one.:joke:

Use some glue on them as they will fall out every time and make it difficult to replace the seat.

Make sure when you install the bushing back into the seat that they are positioned correctly. The bushing is clocked so that it is only suppose to fit one way, but they tend to get mangled enough that they will fit anyway. I use Goop to fix mine into place.

Yep, get them in right and glue the buggers in place.

First time I tried putting the seat on I dropped one down in the bike. Took me awhile to dig it out.
