I just got mine last week and received my XM antenna yesterday. I got the XM working and find it will not play through the blueooth. It works fine through external speakers along with traffic alerts and weather. The MP3 player and prompts along with cell phone all work fine with the bluetooth connection. Anyne else have this problem?

I cannot call Garmin till Tuesday when they reopen after the holiday.

Other than that I really like the unit.

Thanks for any thoughts.

Play through bluetooth?

I'm not sure if I have enough information to answer your question. What doesn't play through your bluetooth? The phone? Music?

Here is what I do. When in the cage I use a FM transmitter to send everthing to the stereo system. The bluetooth works great with my phone through the 2820 using the mic that came with it.

On the wing, I have the Kennedy cellset and everything works great through the headset. I do wish I would have got the Kennedy stuff that works through the speakers as well. They do have it.

How are you connecting yours?

Edited

Sorry I reread your post. You have to get an XM subscription first. After that to listen to XM radio you have to use the MP3 player to find a station. I haven't tried to use anything other than the phone through the bluetooth. So I can't help you there.

Thanks for the reply. I do have an XM subsription. Everything works fine through the external speakers. When I go to use bluetooth, everything (cell, mp3. audio books) works great but the XM portion when I choose that as the source will not come through my headset. It indicates reception is good. When I switch back to external speakers it works just fine.

I have on order the complete Kennedy set up for intercom, and speakers. I think you would just have to add on an auxillary harness.
