New Alpin on last week. Love it so far. I was concerned with the '12 bags on my '02 touching the ground during her "nap". A little over an inch clearance. Doubled up a mat and set it in the grass with the center stand on my sidewalk. They are so cute when they are sleeping. Watch out when they wake up and realize they have new rubber on the rear...they're frisky...

I would run it another 1000 miles as long as the roads are dry!

I thought you were serious until I seen the picture, LOL.

So, how many miles did you get out of it?
I think I got around 18K. I gotta check the writing on the wall (the garage wall that is). Right at 2 years.

I needed to make a couple day trips down in Arkansas and find the twisties so I could use up the side wall a little more. I was going to ride it a little more, but I was anxious to try the Alpin...

Thought I was the only one that did that:

I even took a picture of the wall of the guy I bought the bike from. Then I started doing that myself. His looked similar to yours, as he bought the bike new and I bought it with 151K on it. I really wish I could find that picture...

I always have to dig out the owners manual where I keep such records but I really dig the wall thing. Good idea boys, thanks!

I just do it in pencil right on the sheetrock. Right next to the light switch so I can see it when I illuminate the 1832cc hotrod first thing in the morning.

I'll take it. Does free include shipping? Once I get that sticker off it should be just fine. :)

ran 38psi throughout. mixed riding, camper/2-up, solo to work, 2-up twisties, etc. Never adjusted pressure for the different types of riding. I was thinking the center wore out a little quicker than I'd like but it was comfortable throughout the time of the tire. the only time I lost air in the tire was during checking pressure. For a non-run flat it would be my choice. I just put on the run-flat, so time will tell on it. So far I really like it. Thinking it may be the stiffer sidewall...

Thanks for the offer, but my bride wont let me go back to a MC tire. You may try the general message board. There are still people that use them round tires in the rear. I am sticking with them square ones.

I've only tried one Falken, and got only 6K out of it. :nojoke:
Nice riding tire, but poor mileage.
