I am debating about changing the current fuse that runs the 12V assessory plug in the left fairing pocket up to a 15A, in order to provide enough juice to run an item that is rated at 12A draw.
Is the wiring heavy enough to carry the load?

No, the wire size is matched to the fuse and a larger fuse will overheat the wire if it exceeds the amperage rating. Acc. fuse is 5 amps and going to a larger fuse and amp draw isn't a good idea.

It's pretty simple to get a power outlet rated for 15 amps and wire direct to the battery and place it in another location. I put one in the left passenger pocket to use my mini compressor and to plug my slow charger into!

Sounds like I better try to get a new plug and wire direct from the battery as suggested.
Thanks for the advice everyone.
