Most if not all aux fuel tanks empty into the return line. This takes quite awhile to pump 4 gallons of fuel because the return line has 6 lbs of pressure. I drilled and tapped the fuel gauge plate and installed a 90 degree elbow directly into the tank. Result, it takes just 8 to 10 min to pump 4 gallons from aux to main. Has any one else have a better idea?

CSC doesn't have that problem. Let everyone know what brand you have so they don't make the same mistake.

HI -

Our GL1800/Hannigan empties directly into the tank and it takes 6-1/2 minutes to empty.

What kind of conversion do you have??

I have a Hannigan trike. How many gallons do you transfer in six and one half mins? Did Hannigan install the transfer directly into the tank and how did they do it?

The full aux. tank transfers in 6-1/2 minutes. The conversion was done at the Hannigan factory in Murray, Kentucky in October, 2005 (we picked it up on Halloween). They installed the aux. fuel line into the side of the neck of the original tank filler tube.

Hope this helps!
