Now that I have cobras front and rear, does anyone know what avon recommends for inflation pressure on the GL1800?

I just put an Avon Cobra (70) on the rear a few days ago and really like it! Will run it at 43 and see how it wears. Putting the front one soon.

Here's what an Avon Rep. sent me:

I have copied our recommended fitment below, which also shows our recommended air pressures for your tires. Please maintain these pressures as accurately as possible, as your bike needs high pressures. Keep the rear as indicated below for all use & if you weigh 200 lbs or more use 42 in the front especially while riding two up. Let us know if we can help with anything else.

Thank you for supporting Avon Tyres and ride safely.

I ran 42 Front, 41 Rear.

Rear was marginal at 10K+, Front still looked great.

Love the tires. I was happy at 10K on rear for my riding style. My best prior was about 7k on the Metzler. It remains a mystery to me how seem you guys get into the high teens with tires (i.e. 18K, 17K).

Running Bridgestone front right now and Yokohama AVS on year. Overall, I am not enamored with this combination. More bounce in year than I remember on my Valkyrie, could be due to poorer suspension (Valk had Progressive suspension) combined with single swing arm design.

Switching back to Bike tires soon (before next Mtn Trip)
Considering Metzler front, Cobra rear
