Just picked up a '08 and have a question. Not sure all back lighting is working on the controls. No backlighting on 1) hi/lo beam switch 2) up, down, memo 1, memo 2 buttons on the pre-load adjuster 3) everything surrounding the ignition switch .... disp, info, trip, dim, heated grip, heated seat buttons. Last item looks normal as labels looked painted on but the others I'm not sure. Can someone let me know. Thanks and great forum by the way.

1 and 3: No lights.

Different years/models have different things lit up. Check your owners manual for more info. While you're in there check out how to turn on/up the dash and back-lit illumination level. It might just be turned way down or off.
Others may be along to offer better ideas of what is illuminated on your model.
