Hauling motorcycles

I've hauled many motorcycles in the beds of several types of FULL SIZED pickups. I emphasized full size, because i've never used a small truck.
Never had a problem. You'll need a ramp of some type to get it on & off.
I've used scaffold planks, but there are many motorcycle specific ramps out there.
I bolted eyelets into the truck bed front & rear, soft ties thru the lower triple tree, collapse the forks about 2",snug 'em down with tie downs,& off you go.
Chock for the front wheel helps a lot,but i've done it without them.
Tied down & hauled everything from full dress HD's to mini bikes in pickups & never a problem.
Good luck,
the hobo

Oh Lord...don't put that 'Wing in the back of a pickup...people will stare!
Perhaps people will simply assume that there isn't enough lockable storage in the truck.

I once put an GL1100 Interstate in the back of my Ford Ranger, for our move from Vegas to Portland, OR. It was an adventure, to say the least, but it went okay.

I suspect the 1800 has a longer wheelbase...
