6 inches water in the basement last night due to the rain. Water flooded the street and came in the back door. I know I got water in the garage too. The bikes will be fine and since I just got the garage all cleaned out I know there isnt anything on the floor to get ruined.

That has got to suck. I live part way up a hill and all the water runs away.

Sorry to hear that Bob. When I was a kid living in Cicero we would get 3 or 4 feet of water in the basement almost every year from the storm sewers. We'd carry a lot stuff up stairs including the old Maytag wringer and pull the oil burner out. No fun.

Boppo, I think it is headed your way

The house I grew up in never got flooded. We had hard wood floors in the basement.
