I use a mounted Deutsch connector on the bike with a dummy plug for when I'm riding to keep it sealed from road grime.
When I remodeled my workshop I wired my Battery Tender so I just plug the bike into the wall.

I always mount a Garmin panel mount on every bike for clothes & battery tending.

I installed a Powerlet socket on my GW on the left side down by the engine. Which is the same location that was on my BMW.
