Here is the tip for the day.
Working on my 18 DCT, I went to remove the battery strap bolt and of course it was stripped.
I wonder who did that?
Anyway, I found that if you run the bolt from the back side, you can clean up the threads and get it work again correctly. There is plenty of room.
